What does A.C.T.S. stand for? It stands for the Acts of the Apostles, with each letter representing a different aspect of prayer.

A= Adoration (or worshiping God)

C= Confession of sinds to God

T= Thanksgiving

S= Supplication, asking for things in prayer

A is for Adoration: Here are some psalms of worship. Turn to a psalm, to help your spirit as a means to start praising God. Psalm Chapter: 19; 29; 33; 34; 35; 47; 50; 76; 87; 91; 93.

C is for confessing sin: Peter’s advice, quoting Psalm 34 or 1 Peter 3:12 1 John 1:9. Confess your sin before you pray for others.

T is for Thanksgiving: Thanking God for his forgiveness. 1 Thessalonians 5:18; Psalm 104:1,5; Psalms 103:2-3, 11-12.

S is for Supplication: This is the time to make specific requests in prayer, both for others and for yourself. Here are four prayer topics in the Bible:

1.The sick James 5:14-16

2. Rulers 1 Timothy 2:1-3

3. More Christian workers Matthew 9:35-38.

4. Yourself: 1 Chronicles 4:10; Psalm 106:4-5
